The Arts & Humanities Research Council launched this important strategic
programme in 2003 to encourage, support and enhance the use of information
and communications technology (ICT) in all areas of Arts and Humanities
research. The post is located at The University of Reading, to support the
Director, Professor David Robey, in running the programme and conducting
research on current uses of ICT by Arts and Humanities Researchers and
their related needs. Broad (i.e. not necessarily specialist) familiarity
with the relevant uses of ICT is required as well as a degree in an Arts
or Humanities subject; experience of research at Doctoral or higher level
