Dear All
Finding the Fallen starts on Sunday on Discovery:

The series follows archaeological group No Man's Land as we excavate a
number of Great War sites and attempt to tell the stories of individuals
associated with the sites. In two cases identifications are made of
skeletons uncovered and biographies researched. The programme should also
show how this about more than digging stuff up but also how important is
the work of the conservator and the researcher.
I hope the prog will make a case for contemporary archaeology.
I haven't seen it yet. I hope it's okay. Bash me next week if it's not.
Oh and a quick plug: I could be available to talk about this stuff for your
lecture programme or to the student arch soc! I'm also giving a paper on
Great War bodies and personal effects at TAG.
Thanks
Martin
