Subject: Re: FW: Use of paid support workers
If Peter Gregory would like to get in touch with me off list at
[log in to unmask] I would be happy to talk to him about the
Personal Support Worker training programme run at Bristol University which
equips individuals to work as personal support workers with disabled
people. The training is underpinned by the social model of disability, a
significant proportion is delivered by disabled tutors and professional
issues and boundaries form an essential part of the training.
