Is questioning the "inclusiveness" of academia not warranted?
I didn't understand why you were offended by my comment against academia -- an
entity -- as opposed to academics -- units with the larger academic establishment.
It's perhaps a bit more clear now.
Still, even if I were criticizing academics, does that necessarily imply criticism of
you? If I "criticized feminists", do I criticize all feminists? Are there not strands of
feminism? If I "criticized liberals", is that an inditement of every person who has
ever carried the mantra of liberalism?
It seems as if you were grasping for straws from the get-go .
As a disabled person, I imagine you would know a lot about barriers in academia.
So again, I don't understand what your past experiences here have to do with my
raising a valid criticism?
Huff and Puff all you like, but the fact remains that you've overreacted and I would
furthermore question whether it is for the reasons you give,
