Hallo,
I'm just back from 11 days of traveling amongst which I spent four working at a
bicycle trade show in salzburg, austria. austrian cycle dealers seem quite
unmotivated in selling pedelecs (I work for a swiss pedelec company every now
and then)..
back to the website&wiki question.

After those 3 reactions to my mail it seems to me as if you'd like me to install
a wiki for cycling & society.
If a simple wiki without project managment/blogging or other groupware tools
like calender would be enough, I would suggest the very commonly used MediaWiki
Software which is maintained by the WikiMedia Foundation and best known through
their projects i.e. Wikipedia.
If many of you are aquainted to the MediaWiki Markup it would be easiest to
continue. If most of you are new to using wikis, it would be worth to think
about another one as for example TikiWiki which comes with a lot of nice
features like a simple survey function which might be useful for
project-internal use.
TikiWiki can be found at http://tikiwiki.org/ or a blank installation can be
tried out at. Attention: All changes in this trial installation will be reset
every 2 hours.

Of course there is lots of other options, but I think these are the 2 most
interesting ones to look at, maybe together with TWiki.
Please let me know what you'd like to go for.
In the meantime I can host the Wiki at my personal server, but the installation
could be moved to another Account with apache/php/mysql any time if preferred.
best regards,
eric.poscher.
