Dear All,
I am currently in the process of updating our organisation's Retention
Schedule. Whilst considering setting the retention periods for our tender
documentation it has been brought to my attention that for any procurement
activity that has gone through the OJEU process retention periods may be
different due to possible future audits by the EU. From a discussion on
this list back in February it was suggested that unsuccesful tenders from a
OJEU procurement should be kept for 4 years. I am struggling to find
evidence to find out if this is in fact correct and if there is actually a
legal/audit obligation to retain records.
Can anyone shed any light on retention periods for OJEU procurement records
or point me in the right direction?
Many thanks,
Elaine
