Repressing the impulse to make another virtual visit to G.'s wonderful
church in Köln (there's one in the list's archives from two years ago
[Re: saints of the day 10. October (St. Gereon)], I'll just note that
the parish's website has revised its virtual tour:
http://www.stgereon.de/Basilika/allgemein/Ueberblick_Rundgang.html
and that within the past year the adjacent green space on the
Gereonsdriesch has received a large, sculpted portrait head of G.:

This is the work of Iskender Yediler, whose own site is here:

Visitors to Bonn over the last five years or so may have observed the
same sculptor's similar heads of the local martyrs Cassius and
Florentius (also Theban legionaries celebrated on 10. October) behind
the Münster:

C.'s very nice cathedral at Massa Marittima (GR) was the subject of a
post last year [Re: saints of the day 10. October]. Most of the links
still work. The matter on the mural of the Fonti dell'Abbondanza has
been superseded by George Ferzoco's recent monograph,
_Il murale di Massa Marittima / The Massa Marittima Mural_ (Leicester:
Troubadour Press; Firenze: Consiglio Regionale della Toscana, 2005).
Best,
