Dear all
I have been dealing with a site that has a problem with hydrocarbons. RBCA is being used by the consultants to formulate the validation targets. They are using Reference Doses instead of Slope Factors since SFs don't fit with UK context. So far so good. But what about the standard excess lifetime risk that RBCA uses? The consultants say that as SFs aren't being used there is no need to alter the excess life risk value. Does anybody know if this is correct or not? All comments welcome.
