I've had some difficulty convincing senior management about the
allocation of the PAs - for internal cover etc, as per Way Ahead 2005.
How many PAs do colleagues with similar consultant numbers, 3 or 4,
allocate for internal cover? Do you also allocate a nominal amount for
dealing with telephone advice while on-call?
Obviously, some colleagues would have been able to negotiate better
deals than others, but anyone care to share their experience?
