OK, so we don't trust them then ;-)
So if the experiments are going to "ask sites to install software for
them" is this going to be done without the site admin running something
as root? I'm certainly in favour of this, but what's the mechanism? Tar
balls, experiment supplied scripts (!?).
IMO packages are designed to solve a software distribution problems, so
I think that RPMs are a good idea. Could we do something like:
# sudo cmssgm
$ rpm --dbpath ~cmssgm/rpm/... --install [whatever]
