Interesting! A search of a Canadian military history website came up with
Hayle and St. Agnes as the location of the mining operations at this time.
Whilst Dines confirms that exploratory work took place at Florence during
WWII I couldn't find anything for St Agnes. As for Hayle it could be rather
large area to search in Dines!
