Dear All,
I was wondering if anybody has any news on the cycling and society website that
was going to be set up after the conference in Cardiff a few months ago? I was
intending to put the relevent information/papers/putcomes/news on the site, but
if we don't have one then I suppose we'll have to maybe think about
re-delegating responsibility for establishing some web space.
Also I am currently working for the National Centre for Research Methods, which
tends to concentrate on social science research. Myself and a colleague have
been charged with the duty of filling the journal entitled 'Qualitative
Researcher' with interesting and engaging articles about how people are gooing
about finding stuff out. The articles do not need to be based in social sciences
but ought to address some aspect of qualitative research. It has an ISSN number
so you can bung any contributions on your CV. We are looking for pieces of
between 1500 and and 2000 words... not too taxing. If anybody has any questions
or wants to submit something that would be great, the more cycling related stuff
that gets distributed the better in my opinion. E-mail me (Ben Fincham) on
[log in to unmask] or Susanne Langer, [log in to unmask]
Anyway see you all soon
Lots of love
Ben
