Summary: When given 1-D NDF, ROTATE falls over in a heap
Product: KAPPA
Version: unspecified
Platform: PC
OS/Version: Linux
Status: NEW
Severity: normal
Priority: P2
Component: KAPPA
AssignedTo: [log in to unmask]
ReportedBy: [log in to unmask]
QAContact: [log in to unmask]
When trying to use ROTATE on a 1-D NDF, it gives an error similar to:
*** glibc detected *** free(): invalid next size (fast): 0x08272bf8 ***
There are a couple of options for dealing with this:
- check for 1-D-ness on the input file be done straight away instead of having
ROTATE crash on you, so ROTATE doesn't allow you to rotate a 1-D NDF.
- "upgrade" the NDF to 2-D (probably Nx1 in dimensions) and then rotate it so
it's a 1xN 2-D NDF, warning the user that this is actually what's happening.
