Hi Derek,
There are entries in two of the pool node (dcache.epcc.ed.ac.uk) log files
dcacheDomain.log has entries like:
08/15 15:34:12 Cell(dcache_1@dcacheDomain) : No Route to cell for packet
{uoid=<1124116452004:13903>;path=[>PoolManager@local];msg=Missing routing
entry for PoolManager@local}
08/15 15:34:12 Cell(dcache_1@dcacheDomain) : at
dmg.cells.nucleus.CellGlue.sendMessage(CellGlue.java:564)
08/15 15:34:12 Cell(dcache_1@dcacheDomain) : at
dmg.cells.nucleus.CellNucleus.sendMessage(CellNucleus.java:204)
08/15 15:34:12 Cell(dcache_1@dcacheDomain) : at
dmg.cells.nucleus.CellAdapter.sendMessage(CellAdapter.java:420)
08/15 15:34:12 Cell(dcache_1@dcacheDomain) : at
diskCacheV111.pools.MultiProtocolPool2$PoolManagerPingThread.send(MultiProtocolPool2.java:2226)
08/15 15:34:12 Cell(dcache_1@dcacheDomain) : at
diskCacheV111.pools.MultiProtocolPool2$PoolManagerPingThread.sendPoolManagerMessage(MultiProtocolPool2.java:2199)
08/15 15:34:12 Cell(dcache_1@dcacheDomain) : at
diskCacheV111.pools.MultiProtocolPool2$PoolManagerPingThread.run(MultiProtocolPool2.java:2160)
08/15 15:34:12 Cell(dcache_1@dcacheDomain) : at
java.lang.Thread.run(Thread.java:534)
Which doesn't really mean anything to me, and gridftpdoor-dcache.log:
08/15 15:33:26 Cell(lm@gridftpdoor-dcacheDomain) : whatToDo : excpetion :
java.lang.Exception: Request timed out
08/15 15:33:41 Cell(lm@gridftpdoor-dcacheDomain) : whatToDo : excpetion :
java.lang.Exception: Request timed out
08/15 15:33:56 Cell(lm@gridftpdoor-dcacheDomain) : whatToDo : excpetion :
java.lang.Exception: Request timed out
08/15 15:34:11 Cell(lm@gridftpdoor-dcacheDomain) : whatToDo : excpetion :
java.lang.Exception: Request timed out
08/15 15:34:26 Cell(lm@gridftpdoor-dcacheDomain) : whatToDo : excpetion :
java.lang.Exception: Request timed out
Could this indicate some sort of communication issue between the cells on
the pool and admin node.
Cheers,
Greig
