One recent book that discusses some of the issues you raise is:
Kristiansen, K. & Traustadóttir, R. (Eds)(2004). Gender and Disability
Research in the Nordic Countries. Lund (Sweden): Studentliteratur
The book reports the findings many reserch studies within the Nordic
countries focusing on gender and disbilities, some of them may be of
interest for the issues you raise, but the introductory chapters would be
particularly relevant.
