global projects, and findings of cross-cultural
studies, including considerable time for questions and
discussion. Including the Schwartz Value Survey
studies of Shalom Schwartz and David Ralston, the
GLOBE project, the small research consortium studying
explicit leader behaviours, Discussion of the
relationships of the Hofstede, Trompenaars, and
Schwartz value paradigms. Where available, the actual
research instruments will be distributed and
discussed. To enhance the practical applicability of
the information in the PDW, the discussions will
include the value and uses of the processes and
findings for management education and development in
industry and academia.
