Hello,
Sorry for the slow reply but I've been away. I think sometimes (but not
always!) that problem can be resolved by changing the setting of
GL_FLAG = -DUSE_GL_FALSE
to instead
GL_FLAG = -DUSE_GL_TRUE
or vice versa, in the file ccpnmr1.0/c/environment.txt. (And doing a
"make clean" followed by a "make".) There is this pesky parameter to one
of the OpenGL functions, and allegedly it's supposed to tell you if it
fails, but as far as I can tell you can pass either parameter in and
nothing happens until later on when it tries to do a "makeCurrent"
command, and if you passed the wrong one in it crashes (again, no error
message, just a crash). So you can try swapping that setting in the
environment file and re-compiling. If I remember correctly, we had one
computer where one setting worked if you used the computer directly and
the opposite worked if you used the computer remotely. This is all a
mystery to me.
