Well, to use GFAL based utilities we need to get the file catalog published in
the BDII.
I've now got a cental LFC catalog for dteam setup on grid08.ph.gla.ac.uk, so I
think we need to get this into the gfe01 BDII server.
When Owen setup the static BDII list,
https://www.gridpp.ac.uk/deployment/testzone/uk_testzone_sites.txt,
scotgrid-gla was offline, so I have added:
# Glasgow Scotgrid
ScotGRID-Gla
ldap://ce1-gla.scotgrid.ac.uk:2170/mds-vo-name=scotgrid-gla,o=grid
this should help.
However, there seems to be an issue here in Glasgow that the CE (which is
scotgrid.ac.uk) is not publishing on data from our test machines (which are
ph.gla.ac.uk - is this expected?). So I've also added:
#Testzone LFC
Testzone-LFC
ldap://grid08.ph.gla.ac.uk:2135/mds-vo-name=scotgrid-gla-test,o=grid
Hmm, still not seeing anything with lcg-infosites:
grid05:~$ export LCG_GFAL_INFOSYS=gfe01.hep.ph.ic.ac.uk:2170
grid05:~$ export LCG_CATALOG_TYPE=lfc
grid05:~$ lcg-infosites --vo dteam lfc
grid05:~$
Although the glasgow SE is now being picked up:
grid05:~$ lcg-infosites --vo dteam se | grep gla
956500536 917654848 disk se1-gla.scotgrid.ac.uk
(I can see grid08 being queried by gfe01, so there are no firewalls in the
way.)
Ho hum. Any suggestions anyone?
