Hi all,
I too would welcome the opportunity to talk about it further at the
conference, and hope that the organisers will be able to create a space for
this. If not, I suspect that feeling amongst many is strong enough for us to
get together on the Thursday evening and discuss it then. I'm very grateful
to Annie for offering to facilitate a session within the conference. Another
possibility is to hold an 'indaba'-type of meeting, and see what emerges!
I'm conscious of the tensions inherent in the development of a CP section of
the BPS, but hope that this could facilitate more co-ordinated action by
community psychologists, as has been suggested, when important events and
issues arise.
I look forward to finding some ways forward with this when we meet in the
autumn.
Wendy

Hello all,
I would welcome the opportunity for discussion at the
conference as Annie suggested.
I also really like Ursula's idea of smaller meetings
arranged perhaps throughout the year to allow discussion/
statements to be made when important events/issues occur.
