Hi

I've not seen this sort of analysis with VLEs: What is the problem? What
does it cost us? What part of the problem will a VLE remove? What will
it save (after taking away the costs of implementing it)? VLEs, to my
mind, have always had the feeling of the 'Emperor's new clothes' about
them (as have the IMS standards).
And my sympathies to Tim Harrison - Moodle is not difficult to install,
but I have installed Apache, PHP and MySQL on quite a lot of Windows
machines and it can be a real pig!
