Debian and RedHat aren't limited to GPL software. I think the Open
Source Initiative's list of Approved Licences is the definitive list for
what's considered "Open Source" (see
http://www.opensource.org/licenses/) and most if not all of these would
be accepted by Debian and RedHat.
