Hi All
thanks for clearing up that question Gabby - I think that sums it up nicely.
Just to introduce myself to others on the list - I've been working in the
area of Image Processing and
Artificial Intelligence, specifically on the Vindolanda tablets, trying to
build a cognitive image system
that can aid historians in their task of reading the stylus texts.
I'm now working at UCL, teaching librarians and archivists various internet
technologies, but I'm still
researching images and ancient texts.
Cheers
Melissa
