Dw i wrthi'n cyfieithu darn ymglyn â gêmau plant, ac mae'r canlynol yn cael
eu dyfynnu fel enghraifft o rigwm sy'n cael ei ddefnyddio mewn gêm sgipio:
"Mother, Mother, I am sick,
Call for the doctor, quick, quick, quick.
In came the doctor, in came the nurse,
In came the lady with the big red purse.
Out went the doctor, out went the nurse,
Out went the lady with the big red purse.
Two people turn the rope whilst the others (who represent each of the
characters in the rhyme) move in and out and join in the skipping when it
is their turn. Start with the person who is ‘sick’ skipping in the middle,
then the others join as they are mentioned in the rhyme. So when the doctor
comes in that person joins the skippers, when they go out they move away
from the rope."
Oes yna rigwm Cymraeg sy'n cyflawni'r un swyddogaeth?
