Hi all,
Quick survey: I have three times, since the installation of LCG-2_4_0,
found that a site has started to publish stale information. The cause
always seems to be that the lcg-bdii service, while apparently still
running, has stopped updating information. A quick check is if the files in
/opt/lcg/bdii/tmp
are more than a few minutes old. Restarting the lcg-bdii service
usually seems to fix this.
Have other sites noticed this behaviour? Perhaps I'm just unlucky, or
perhaps the site-BDII we now have installed to replace the unstable
site-MDS, has an instability that means it will need restarting
regularly... :-(
cheers,
Owen.
