TV station cleanup is blast to past
Numerous historic tapes are destroyed

RHINEBECK * Little pieces of local history have been destroyed,
including the late Woody Klose's 2003 videotaped presentation about his
parents' national radio show in Red Hook during the 1940s.

The tape of Klose's presentation, along with hundreds of other original
programs, was destroyed last month when the Public Access Northern
Dutchess Area * or PANDA * cleared out the video archives inside its
Rhinebeck studio. The tapes were taken to the Rhinebeck transfer
station and destroyed. [.....]
