Dear Ox-users,
My model is MSM(3)-VAR(9), n = 415 and I assigned following commands to run
in OxProfessional:
-----------Copied from OxEdit----------
msvar->Load("MS9705lag9PF1b.xls");
msvar->Select(Y_VAR, { "dlspot", 0, 9});
msvar->SetSample(1,1,1,415);
msvar->SetModel(MSM,3);
msvar->Estimate();
msvar->DrawResults(); // shows graphics
msvar->DrawErrors(TRUE); // residuals and analysis
msvar->DrawFit(); // model fit
msvar->DrawModelAnalysis(); // model analysis
msvar->CycleDating(); // prints regime classification
msvar->TestAsy(); // asymmetry tests
msvar->Forecast(10,1,TRUE,TRUE,TRUE);// forecast
msvar->Impulse(10,FALSE,FALSE); // impulse responses
---------------END-----------------------
After I run the OxProf., my computer suddenly calculated very slowly and
now, I face this problem:
-----Copied from OxRun Session----------
Runtime error: out of memory
Runtime error occurred in Prepare(263), call trace:
C:\hmk\Ox\include\MsvarEm.ox (263): Prepare
C:\hmk\Ox\include\MsvarEm.ox (478): Estimate
---------END-------------------------
My questions:
1. Is the runtime error really caused by the limited memory of my computer?
It's only 64MB RAM.
2. Are there any ways to go about the problem?
3. Or.., did I do any wrong writing the command?
Thank you very much for any help. I appreciate it very much.
Best regards,
Pepi
