Following this morning's call, I started poking around in my YAIM-
installed APEL setup. Istarted by upgrading to edg-rgma-apel-3.4.45-1.
In my site-info.def, I have a MySQL password set, however my
accounting database in MySQL has different passwords for the users
'accounting' and 'producer':
mysql> select user, password from user;
+------------+------------------+
| user | password |
+------------+------------------+
| root | 4bd96e375a58ebc5 |
| root | |
| | |
| | |
| producer | 5da82855614d7756 |
| producer | 5da82855614d7756 |
| producer | 5da82855614d7756 |
| producer | 5da82855614d7756 |
| accounting | 406e89046c7a3347 |
| accounting | 406e89046c7a3347 |
| accounting | 406e89046c7a3347 |
| accounting | 406e89046c7a3347 |
+------------+------------------+
12 rows in set (0.00 sec)
mysql> select PASSWORD("MY_MYSQL_PASSWORD");
+------------------------+
| PASSWORD("MY_MYSQL_PASSWORD") |
+------------------------+
| 4bd96e375a58ebc5 |
+------------------------+
1 row in set (0.00 sec)
I'm not sure where this has come from, but it seems to be the most
immediate and obvious reason that the edg-rgma-apel-test script is
failing.
Where did this arise and what's the best way to fix it? Just change
the passwords in MySQL?
Thanks,
Fraser
