your build log says:
/usr/bin/ld: warning: i386 architecture of input file `run_dipso.o' is
incompatible with i386:x86-64 output
so we need to stop distributing this file as it is messing up the binary
(badly even gdb core dumps reading the core dump!). It looks like the
right way to do that is:
nodist_dipsosupport_DATA = run_dipso.o
and remove run_dipso.o from dipsosupport_DATA. Committed that change.
