Summary: Correct procedure for rebuilding Starlink CVS?
Product: TCSH
Version: unspecified
Platform: PC
OS/Version: Linux
Status: NEW
Severity: normal
Priority: P2
Component: TCSH
AssignedTo: [log in to unmask]

(I've had to file this against TCSH as there wasn't a category for the
buildsupport/CVS tools).
Not sure this counts as an actual bug as such but I can't find any instructions
for rebuilding Starlink CVS after a CVS update. Today I did a 'cvs -q update -d'
in my existing Starlink CVS directory after a long absence and it
patched/updated lots of stuff in a whole host of directories.
After that I did a './bootstrap ; ./configure -C ; make world' as per the
instructions in the README and the only thing it built was GAIA which failed in
the last build. I would have thought 'make world' would have rebuilt all the
subdirectories that CVS patched/updated.
Cheers,
Tim
