Jungmann's book is still a classic.
Josef Ratzinger (Benedict XVI) quotes from it, in the introduction he wrote
to Uwe Michael Lang's book, _Conversi ad Dominum. Zu Gechichte und Theologie
der christlichen Gebetsrichtung_, (Einsiedeln, Switzerland: Johannes Verlag).
The book is now available in English as, _Turning towards the Lord:
Orientation in Liturgical Prayer_, (San Francisco: Ignatius Press, 2004).
