Co-ordinator
SO1 £25,500 - £27,000 inclusive
The London Libraries Development Agency works with public, health and
academic libraries in the capital to develop and implement a co-ordinated
strategic vision for library and information services across London.
We ensure that everyone can gain the most from what London's library network
offers, by forging partnerships and links with other agencies to improve the
quality and scope of library services, and acting as advocate and champion.
We need a co-ordinator to manage our busy office, and support the director
and development manager in project and events management.
You will have a good understanding of the role library and information
services play in society as well as:
* Experience of providing administrative support and setting up,
managing and maintaining administrative systems and procedures
* Experience of events co-ordination
* Excellent interpersonal and customer care skills
* A flexible approach to working in a small team and dealing with
people from a wide range of backgrounds
* Commitment to equality and good customer care
