Dear Dave and John,
For the security requirements, security middleware may be available to
satisfy a particular requirement, but it may not be integrated with
other grid middleware.
For each piece of middleware, it makes sense to consider for each of the
security requirements whether it is relevant, and if it is whether it is
satisfied. So I'd agree that it makes sense for the MWSG reps to carry
this out. The assessment should obviously be carried out on a
particular release.
As for who submitted the security requirements, the majority are lifted
from D7.5 which I wrote years ago for DataGrid after much consultation
with the various application experts, experts in Oxford, various
discussion in DataGrid Security co-ordination group. JRA3 have added a
few more since. So there isn't an obvious person who submitted a lot of
the requirements, they are mostly requirements that there is a broad
consensus on.
