Dreamweaver MX 2004: Web Page Creation

Macromedia Dreamweaver is a popular software package incorporating
tools for web page creation and web site management.
This practical workshop is intended for both beginners and those with some web publishing experience, who would like to use Dreamweaver to create their own web pages. It offers a brief overview of HTML and web, before introducing the key features Dreanwever offers for creating and formatting web content.
Whether new to web authoring software, changing tools or upgrading
from a previous version of Dreamweaver, participants will quickly be
creating sophisticated web pages.
Topics covered will include:
* An overview of HTML and the web
* Introduction to the Dreamweaver authoring environment
* Creating and editing web pages using Dreamweaver
* Presentation and formatting of web pages
* Creating and editing style sheets with Dreamweaver
* Does Dreamweaver create accessible content?
By the end of the workshop participants will have:
* Written a number of web pages using Dreamweaver
* Included images, tables and hyperlinks in their web pages
* Created and used style sheets for formatting and presentation
* Designed layouts using tables and Cascading Style Sheets (CSS)
Workshop Requirements:
This workshop is suitable for beginners, however some prior understanding of web publishing, HTML and CSS - for example, to the level covered in the Netskills workshop 'Web Pages from Scratch: An Introduction to HTML' - would be useful, but is not essential.
