italian-studies: Scholarly discussions in any field of Italian studies
Dear Colleagues,
I would like to remind Italianists that there are a number of prizes
available for publications both to those who are members of the Modern
Language Association of the US and those who are not.
I've copied the webpage below
(http://www.mla.org/resources/awards/awards_submissions/awards_competitions/prizes_annual2003)
in order to avoid attachements, except for the ones whose deadlines have
already passed. Please be careful to note restrictions on candidates!
I've included some that are not for Italianists (or just for
Italianists) to help spread the word. Please do let your colleagues know
of the possibilities; they can go to the web pages to get further details.
We all want to know about your good work, wherever you are, so please if
you've published recently and fall into an appropriate category,
consider applying!
Best wishes,
Leslie
