Unilever Archives & Records Management - job opportunities
We are seeking applications for our annual Graduate Trainee/Archive
Assistant posts. We are looking for two enthusiastic people to join the
team, who will be expected to play an active role in the further
development and promotion of our first class service.
2004 marked an exciting phase for Unilever Archives, as the service, which
was split between London and Port Sunlight, was consolidated in Port
Sunlight in new purposely-converted premises. The records management
service was also transferred to Port Sunlight.
The nature of the work will be varied, involving cataloguing, answering
enquiries, promotion of the archive, and records management duties.
Candidates will be about to graduate or have graduated within the last
three years and should be intending to continue their studies on one of
the post-graduate archive courses. The placement will start no later than
August and run for one year. As these are temporary posts the individuals
will be required to register with Unilever's preferred agency.
Salary £15,500 pa.
