Further to Paul Glasziou's e-mail regarding the useability of the Cochrane Library I wanted to alert this group to the existance of the Cochrane Library Users' Group (CLUG).
Aims of the Cochrane Library Users' Group
The Cochrane Library Users' Group provides a forum for discussion of issues related to the use of the Cochrane Library, particularly issues related to its usability, readability, searchability and format. It is also used to share news related to the Cochrane Library, for example when changes in software occur, or new information is added. Further, we hope that in time the list will act as a forum for those who have used the Cochrane Library to inform practice, to share with others information on how this has been achieved, or what barriers were met in particular cases.
It is not for discussion of issues related to particular systematic review or their methodologies or for other feedback on individual items on the library, other than their use in informing practice in health care settings.
The main forum for discussion is the e-mail discussion list
How to join the Cochrane Library Users' Group mailing list
There are two ways to join the list. Either go to the site at JISCmail(http://www.jiscmail.ac.uk/cgi-bin/wa.exe?SUBED1=clug&A=1) and fill in the form <http://www.jiscmail.ac.uk/cgi-bin/wa.exe?SUBED1=clug&A=1> , or join using email.
To join the list via email send the message "join clug firstname lastname" to [log in to unmask] <mailto:[log in to unmask]> If you use a signature file or "footer" when you send email messages you will need to stop JISCmail processing it. Therefore, on the line below the command type two minus signs:
