The Qualrus movie window cannot be resized, it always shows exactly as many
pixels as exist in the video format (typically, 320x240 or multiples
thereof - 4:3 format for regular TVs/monitors, sometimes also cinema's 16:9
ratio).
You have a number of options:
- change the size format of the output video in your caption software (this
will considerably increase your file sizes!);
- if that is not possible, enlargen the files with a converter (I like EO
Video, it has a staightforward interface and requires almost no knowledge
about digital videos: http://www.eo-video.com/, another option is Media
Wizard: http://www.cdhnow.com/mw.asp) or a video editor (e.g., Adobe
Premiere: http://www.adobe.com/products/premiere/main.html);
- if you have a CRT screen: resize the desktop to a smaller resolution, In
Windows, you will need to open the Control Panel for that (this is not an
option for TFTs, as they offer only one resolution);
- use a different software: the freeware Transana
(http://www.transana.org/) allows comfortable video annotations and does
allow for the resizing of the video from within the program; ATLAS.ti
(http://www.atlasti.de/), a CAQDAS similar to Qualrus, also allows for
resizing.
