The Aramaic is probably Kepha' (Cephas). There's a word play in Greek
around Petros(m)/petra(f), and the feminine is probably used because
it means a large rock, as opposed to the masculine equivalent petros,
which means a small stone. I think the Vulgate is just transliterating.
