A colleague of mine recently attended an Edexcel Economics Unit 6 training where it was stated that students can now be expected to produce sketches of graphs like this as part of their exam answers. This was a new one on me, and I have been leading students in the learning(!) of this subject for several years. My initial reaction was "I hope this isn't replacing the expectation that students will use diagrams (AS/AD, etc)", but, having thought about it, I suppose it will get them to learn more about recent Economic trends.
Does anyone have any inside knowledge or thoughts on the matter?

Subject: AS Economics Chart Quiz
Here is a little printable quiz that your AS economics students might
find
useful.
The pdf-linked file below has a selection of 12 charts that illustrate
some
economic data.
Can your students identify what the data is from the clues given?
