Hello,
Two great sources for ideas of ethnographies are :
Kasnitz, Devva and Russell Shuttleworth. 1999. “Engaging Anthropology in Disability Studies.” Disability Policy Studies 1(1) (World Institute on Disability, Oakland, CA).
Linton, Simi. 1998. Claiming Disability: Knowledge and Identity. New York: New York University Press.
(I think it is chapters 5 & 6 that suggest some)
I think Kasnitz & Shuttleworth is available on the web too at WID -
Pamela
