Wayne and I are thinking about having user configurable keyboard
shortcuts. These would just bind a key to a Python function.
What you mention above sounds more like a job for a macro (which might
then be bound to a keystroke), as you're having to start passing arguments
around (peaks, positions etc.). However, I shouldn't think that the macro
would be too difficult to create.
To this end, Wayne and I are aiming to put many of the window related
functions into a documented function library (like AssignmentBasic,
ConstraintBasic etc.) so that you can combine them in macros to your
heart's content.
