medieval-religion: Scholarly discussions of medieval religion and culture
Well, it's possible for England and has been done in a seminal article by Michael Bennett, and by Louis Haas and Philip Niles, so I think Chris has a point. It's done from inquisitions post mortem where the proof of age is determined by witnessing referring back to the baptism and the spiritual kinship. It's inferential, of course. It is also possible to see it in testamentary bequests - inferentially.
