If it's a shared partition it may not be lhcb files which are the problem.
My money would be on atlas, who seem quite good at it, they apparently
filled 1.7 Tb at NIKHEF ...
It used to be fairly easy to check the storage situation, but with no NFS
mounts on the CE and no ssh access to the SE any more you now generally have
to be a sysadmin to see what's going on. You can list the files on a
particular SE with a wildcard search using edg_lrc, but that won't tell you
the size unless you can get it from your own catalogues.
