Health Policy Formation in a Christian Culture with Religious Minorities
The purpose of this project is to study the challenges encountered by
religious minorities in the Irish health-care context, to conduct a
comparative analysis of the policies in other jurisdictions and to
formulate an agenda for informed public debate on the core topics
emerging in consultation with health-care workers and policy-makers.
The successful candidate will have: postgraduate experience, preferably
at PhD level in Social Policy, Religious Studies, Health Policy, or a
cognate discipline; a demonstrated competence in qualitative research
methods; knowledge in the field of health policy, health-care ethics or
public policy formation.
Experience of working with religious minorities in a service delivery,
advocacy or action research role would be advantageous.
