Dear TLT list members,
Would you be willing to help the UCISA TLIG Learning and Teaching Working Group with one of its current activities?
As part of a wider project, the TLIG Learning and Teaching Working Group is gathering views on the "VLE of the future" we would all like to see. We would be most grateful if you could spare a moment and send us your own views.
Your particular perspective in supporting both staff and students is very valuable.
This is a brainstorming, so by all means comment from any angle.
You might be thinking of the overall "tone" e.g. hoping for something more student focussed, or less text based;
you might want to see the JISC open source web services model come into being, or alternatively prefer a commercial package;
you might have a very specific requirement on the way VLEs operate;
or you might have a global vision of universally shared resources, or VLEs quite unrecognisable.
Really, any comment, however long, short, specific, or general will be warmly welcomed. By "future" we mean roughly
five years away. But don't feel restricted in what you want to say!
We will announce to the list when the results of this consultation are available. Any contribution you make will of course be fully acknowledged.
I look forward to your visions!
