you may find the loophole via NZ has been, or will, be closed - better check
up on that.
I can't understand why you would be worried about doing an exam - if you are
a competent practitioner and that is all that is required (not specialist
skills), then it should not be a problem, if you are not isn't it better to
find out where you need help before you damage someone.
NSW runs refresher courses for physios who have been out of practice for a
while which was introduced to maintain standards and to highlight the many
changes that have occurred from year to year. No longer can we graduate in
the fifties, seventies (etc) and expect to be able to practice now without
maintaining some sort of continuing education (and who would want to??).
It may interest you to know that the Australian Physiotherapy association
has a mandatory continuing professional development programme in place. it
is not very onerous
Cheers, Anna.
