medieval-religion: Scholarly discussions of medieval religion and culture
To be more precise, it is the Book of Revelation (not Revelations), and there
are two passages in chapter 2, namely 2.6 and 2.15 (different uses of
punctuation in separating chapter from verse can be confusing!). Commentators
tend to make the Nicolaitans into a "Gnostic" group (the default attribution for
many unknowns in early Christianity).
