Dear all - please reply to Joe Smith if you are interested
Steve
> Please find attached a short summary of a new project, being led and supported by the Geography Discipline at the Open University, plus a job ad and further particulars for a post (min 6 months in the first instance) that will support the development of an innovative project aimed at furthering public debate and understanding about interdependence between North and South and between society and environment. July 2005 will see us pilot our approach, but the postholder will also be playing a big part in laying foundations for the following year.
>
> The postholder will have three main responsibilities: assisting in desk research on the theme of interdependence; preparing fundraising bids, and development and management of a pilot event to be held in London on 9th July 2005. There will be good secretarial support. While there will be office space etc at the Open University's HQ in Milton Keynes, the postholder could be based elsewhere.
>
> We are open-minded about the kinds of skills and experience people will bring, but plenty of energy and initiative will be essential.
