Dear All,
A list of registered participants and session allocations is now
available via
http://www.gridpp.ac.uk/gridpp14/
->
http://www.gridpp.ac.uk/gridpp14/Registration_Info.htm
You can check here that your registration details are correct.
Please contact Maria Hobbs <[log in to unmask]> if there are
any problems or changes to your plans.
A panel session allocation has been made based on your registration input
(indicated in yellow) and listed on the programme page at
http://www.gridpp.ac.uk/gridpp14/programme.html
Could each panel member come prepared to make a short (verbal)
introductory contribution in their session to get the discussions started.
(You're also encouraged to discuss with other member of your panel prior
to the session itself).
Could all those noted as "Session Recorders" (indicated in orange) and
also noted on the programme page, please make notes of the discussion
(for posting on the web during/soon after the meeting) in order to arrive
at a set of actions following the meeting.
For those who haven't registered (yet) You can still register for the
meeting via
http://www.gridpp.ac.uk/gridpp14/registration.html
until next Monday (you'll even be allocated to a session).
See you next week.
Cheers, Tony

Subject: GridPP14 Collaboration Meeting, 6th-7th September 2005
Dear All,
The 14th GridPP Collaboration Meeting will be held on 6th-7th September
2005 and is hosted by the Birmingham Particle Physics Group.
The outline programme of the meeting is given on the web pages.
See http://www.gridpp.ac.uk/gridpp14/
The main aim of the meeting is to gather input from across the
Collaboration on eight chosen discussion areas. You will be asked to
participate in one of the panels (via the registration form).
The aim of each discussion is to reflect the views expressed across the
Collaboration and produce an associated action plan to deal with the
underlying problems/issues in that area.
There are some major challenges ahead in the build-up to LHC data-taking
and now is a good time to identify areas where we can improve in
our stated aim to develop, deploy and operate a very large Production
Grid in the UK for use by the worldwide particle physics community.
We plan that everyone who wants to, will get a chance to contribute, so
please do attend what we think will be a very useful meeting in charting
the future direction of GridPP.
The meeting starts at 11am on Tuesday and finishes at 3pm on Wednesday.
Could you register before the deadline of Tuesday 30th August at
http://www.gridpp.ac.uk/gridpp14/registration.html
This will enable planning to be made for the final agenda including the
composition of the panels. This will also enable arrangements to be made
at Shackleton Hall.
Looking forward to seeing you there (and hearing your views).
Cheers, Tony
