+New Rhizome.org Membership Policy+
Rhizome.org, the leading online resource for new media art, is pleased to
announce the launch of its new membership policy.
As of May 23rd, anyone can browse Rhizome.org for free; and, anyone can
subscribe to Rhizome email lists and post content to the site simply by
signing up. All you have to do to sign up is enter your email address and a
password itšs completely free.
Rhizome Members, who will be asked to make an annual contribution of $25,
will have access to all ten years of the Rhizome Archives--art and text--as
well as special Member features such as Advanced Search and Member tools for
sharing content.
This policy replaces an earlier system in which access to the site and
Rhizomešs programs required a $5 annual contribution. In keeping with its
mission to serve the new media art community and foster innovation and
participation in all its activities, Rhizome expects these changes will make
for an open, dynamic, and inclusive system for its current community and
newcomers alike.
